Lindbergh Palace, “Days Don’t Fade” (Alcala Dub)
Smooth as the proverbial baby’s bottom and much less likely to make a stink later on, this is definitely a keeper. Here’s to hoping there’s a full vocal mix of one of our favorite producer people remixing one of our favorite acts of the last couple of years coming out soon.
Lindbergh Palace, “Days Don’t Fade” (Johan Agebjörn & Le Prix Remix)
Oh, hey, those sweet, smooth Swedish synth sounds of Johan Agebjörn and company applied to our favorite track from Lindbergh Palace’s debut EP? That sounds pretty OK by us!
Lindbergh Palace, “Rollerskater”
Graphic novelist Leah Hayes provides vocals for this four-piece act that takes pieces from all of the Disco Potential staff’s favorite musical obsessions and turns them into a brand new thing. A little bit of The Knife, a taste of Power, Corruption and Lies-era New Order and a swatch from Yazoo’s garment are all here but this feels not at all derivative. We’re very excited about their new EP, coming out the middle of next month.
